Tempo in European Projects
TEMPO company acts as a partner in several projects approved by European Commision under programs Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates, Culture 2000, Phare, Iniciative EQUAL.
The main goal of all these programs is to help, to discover and enlarge new and more effective approaches to education , to encourage employment in the region with the orientation on problem groups such as long-term unemployed, young people, women, diabled people and intercultural cooperation.
Each project should respond to actuall economical and social problems. Concrete product as a result of corporation (v rámci jednotlivých projektu) should be commercialy available and usable.

Projects developing IT skills
- IT Woman
- Getting@link.ED - Socrates program aimed at improving the quality of Adult Education in Europe using IT by teachers and students and establishing a European network for the common sharing of ideas and experiences.
Projects focused on labour market, management, enterprise and qualification
- European Training in Restaurants - The project supported to exercise of common standards, content and methods of initial training and transnational exchange in the restaurants. It was particularly oriented to the needs of social disadvantaged youths.
- Qualification of Female Students of Arts and Social Sciences for Employment in Companies
- Eco-Management Training for Managers and Qualified Workers from SMEs Via Internet
- Key Skills Individual Diagnostic Screening Program - The purpose of this project was to take three Key Skills Individual Diagnostic Screening packages. Each of the partner organisations tested their relevance on young unemployed and adults. The packages produced were for use in the three key skill areas of application of number, communication and information technology.
- European Game of Self-Employment
- European training of SME´s through videoconferencing – This project wais dedicated to organise the background for the videoconferencing course focused on managers and entrepreneurs of small and medium sized enterprises from the countries of the European Union, respectively from the pre-accession countries. It intented to develop a regular set of the lessons with the curriculum of knowledge necessary for daily life in the SME´s to solve their practical needs and to provide recipients with the advice of the leading experts in Europe.

- Transnational Development of a Skills Acquisition Concept for Consultants and Small and Medium Enterprises to Implement Management Methods and use Information and Communication Technologies.
Linguistic projects
- Online Learning of the Finnish Language
- Methodology for On-Line Tutorship/Guidance Tool for the Tutors - The project proposed to create a common methodology for the follow-up and guidance of Open and Distance Learning trainees and to create a guidance for the tutor, to assist them in their new functions and roles. The created methodology should be transferrable to any language training and contribute to improve the quality of language training.
- LOKI
- EUROLANT – European Online Language Training – Dutch language - The project EUROLANT was aimed at wideing the possibilities of learning foreign languages using the latest IT. As Dutch is not a commonly spoken language, even as it has about 20 million native speakers in Europe, the opportunity of learning Dutch language in Europe is mostly limited to big cities. This situation led to the idea of creating interactive Dutch language-training software installed on the Internet making Dutch language courses accessible to the entire world.
Mobility projects
- Circulus
- Marco – Polo - This project was aimed at the needs of students from hotel and travel schools to offer them the transnational expierences. The project intended to organise a placement programme to give students the opportunity to undertake training periods in European companies. The goal was a research of educational needs and a creation educational guidance for schools.
